Bio
Nicole Raineault graduated with a B.S. in physical marine science from the University of Maine in 2006. At UMaine she was a member of the Honors College and minored in geology. She received her M.S. in oceanography from Rutgers University in 2008. Nicole started her PhD at the University of Delaware in 2008, where she is a member of the Coastal Sediments, Hydrodynamics, and Engineering Lab (CSHEL), directed by Dr. Art Trembanis.
Research Interests
Seafloor mapping, beach and nearshore morphodynamics, shoreline and coastal geology, acoustic methods for seafloor classification, sea technology (AUV, ROV, sonar systems)
